Luke 1:17

Luke 1:17
And he shall go before him in the spirit and power of Elias, to turn the hearts of the fathers to the children, and the disobedient to the wisdom of the just; to make ready a people prepared for the Lord.

Lord, just as promised, John the Baptist would cry out in the wilderness, "Repent ye: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand." (Mathew 3:2) John gave everything - the world and his life, to prepare the way. Let us be as John, repentant, dedicated to you, spreading the message of Jesus without hesitation, fearless, and trusting completely in You and your Word.
