Mark 3:24
And if a kingdom be divided against itself, that kingdom cannot stand. And if a house be divided against itself, that house cannot stand.

Today I pray for the people of this country and the leaders. Though your children recorded their history and warned us against oppression of the poor, conquest, bargaining with enemies, and worshiping false idols, here we are, as troubled as the Northern Kingdom of Israel ever was - with sin abounding, injustice rampant, and fear everywhere. Lord, I am on my knees asking for your healing: that we repent and turn to you as under Hezekiah.
