Matthew 5:29
And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

Father God, while anger is rooted in pride, lust is rooted in flesh - help us abandon those paths to sin the world sells us - entertainment and spectacle. Help us pluck out our eye, look away and not be tempted, and instead seek you and your Son always: full of repentance and appreciation for everything you have already given us. For our flesh lacks for nothing when we have your bread.
