And all that sat in the council, looking stedfastly on him, saw his face as it had been the face of an angel.

Faced with false witness, Stephen opened his mouth and witnessed to You, God - telling the story of your promises and your fulfillment of prophecy, Stephen held back nothing yet fought only with your word and your truth. Let us never go on the attack in your defense, for you already won. Our job is only to deliver the good news.
