Acts 11:17
Forasmuch then as God gave them the like gift as he did unto us, who believed on the Lord Jesus Christ; what was I, that I could withstand God?

The conviction of your earliest followers must have been so great - in a world filled with division - every tribe against another, your Son's miracles united all. Man and woman, Jew and Roman, poor and wealthy. I pray for strong conviction that overcomes divisions, overcomes fear of judgment, for we are all children of the Lord and we all need Jesus' healing.
