1 Corinthians 2:12

1 Corinthians 2:12
Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.

Though He came in the flesh, the Spirit of God was left in our heart to transform our flesh to something new. As the sun rises this morning, let us focus inward to that spirit - eternal and connected to the Most High, given to us with pure love. And as we empty ourselves of the world and of the flesh, let us draw close to our maker in humility, love, faith, and joy. Our burden will be light, our yoke loose, and our walk easy.
