Romans 1:8
First, I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world.

These earliest followers faced tremendous hardship - a world of constant war and hardship, slavery and oppression. Yet they endured in faith believing and gave everything to spread the word. I pray for every believer to look in their heart today and renew their faith through courage to share the Gospel in a world still full of hardship.
