Revelation 1:3
Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand.

Most gracious Father - I try to keep my heart in the gospels, learning from your wonderful Son, but as we conclude this year and this chronological read of your holy word, I am reminded that your view of time is unlike ours. Time and again your prophets have spoken of events to come, and so they did. Sometimes quickly, sometimes after hundreds of years, but always as you promised. I pray that people take the time to read the Revelation of John for themselves and ponder your promise and consider where their heart is today.
