Genesis 22:18
And in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.

One of your earliest promises, Lord, and so important. Through Abraham and, 41 generations later, Jesus, your Word blessed the world. Thank you, Lord, for your vision, story, compassion, and justice. I pray that any reading this ponder you - your ability to know every life with the deepest intimacy. I pray they look upon your face and in that moment of joy when all else fades and only you are there, smiling down on them, they let go - repent and obey - and draw close to you.
