1 Corinthians 9:25
And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.

Almighty Father, when I was without hope I wished for death. Now I am filled with hope and wish only for life with you. Thank you for giving me both the gift of life and the gift of life anew, that I might know light from darkness.
