Isaiah 33:22
For the LORD is our judge, the LORD is our lawgiver, the LORD is our king; he will save us.

Almighty, thank you for giving us your law and promise - that while your Son alone could follow perfectly, he showed us the way. And though the world squabbles without ceasing to establish its own kings and laws, we can pay them no mind. For if we just open your Word today, we find the path that has never failed. Thank you for the path - not only for showing me the way, but making it so I don't have to worry about writing those laws or electing those kings. You are the law and you are my King.
