Nehemiah 9:13

Nehemiah 9:13
Thou camest down also upon mount Sinai, and spakest with them from heaven, and gavest them right judgments, and true laws, good statutes and commandments:

Lord, you gave us clear laws and we disobeyed, so you gave us the Spirit, and we plugged our ears. Let us unplug our ears and listen with our heart in each moment, thinking simply, would the Lord smile upon this act? For you are good and you are righteous, and if a thing can not coexist with you, then we can't coexist with it. And in this way, testing simply whether a thing would abide in your presence, we should know right from wrong and know good from evil and know how to please you each moment.
