And the LORD'S anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation, that had done evil in the sight of the LORD, was consumed.

Father God, your time is unlike ours, but your lessons so important. How many times must we abandon reason and try to invent our own justice - our own declaration of right and wrong.. and how many generations must endure the lessons that pride brings.
