2 Samuel 11:3
And David sent and inquired after the woman. And one said, Is not this Bathsheba, the daughter of Eliam, the wife of Uriah the Hittite?

The world, the flesh, and the devil. Lord, we are weak and fail - even a man such as David, who wrote the psalms and ministered unto you in the wilderness. Let us cling to you, be honest with ourselves about our weakness and not excuse failure but confront it with repentance. For we cannot walk in sin and walk with you.
