1 Chronicles 22:7
And David said to Solomon, My son, as for me, it was in my mind to build an house unto the name of the LORD my God:

Father God, our heart might seek one purpose while you seek another. David was able to set his pride aside and help his son build your house, rather than try to build it himself. Help us to walk in your purpose and not force our own path.
