Judges 10:16
And they put away the strange gods from among them, and served the LORD: and his soul was grieved for the misery of Israel.

A lesson for us each day, indeed, each moment. Let us always put you first, Father, in our thoughts, words, and actions. And in so doing, righteousness rather than self righteousness will be served.
